Everyone wishing to enter Cuba as a Tourist is required to apply for a Tourist Visa Card. A tourist card is valid ONLY for leisure or recreational purposes. It is not valid for other travel purposes.
A Tourist visa card is valid for a 30 day stay, within 180 days of issue; if required further 30 day extension are available in Cuba.
The fee for a Cuba Tourist Visa Card is £20. All visa information, regarding a holiday in Cuba, applies to holders of British passports. Passengers are advised to check the current regulations. You may apply for a tourist card by post or in person.
Be careful not to make any mistakes when filling it out. If you do make a mistake, neatly cross it out and enter the correct information next to the appropriate category. Do not attempt to erase or "white out" the error. If your card is damaged or has too many mistakes it may have to be replaced at a cost to you of between £20.00 and £30.00 prior to departure or upon arrival in Cuba. Try to avoid the latter option because of the delays it will cause at the airport.
